Highest Quality Steel and 7-Step Galvanizing Process

ARE Monopoles are manufactured using only the highest quality steel and a 7 stage galvanizing process. Saying it is one thing, but testing the steel, ultra sound for welds and micrometers measure the galvanizing thickness – all ensure our poles meet the highest standards to withstand the harshest of environments.

Experts

While ARE is known by many for our Patented Ballasted Foundations, they all need poles, so we’ve designed….a lot, and manufactured thousands. Our competitors have conventional monopoles for telecom or street lights, and that’s fine, but ARE cut its teeth in the wind industry where changing frequencies and oscillating loads with spinning blades are part of every pole. We’ll design to your code, TIA, CSA, Eurocode…we’ve done it.

Monopoles vs. Lattice Towers

Monpoles are better and it’s not close. Monopoles are conical, making them resistant to vortex shedding. They have one vertical weld and and don’t hold water like Lattice Towers. Birds don’t nest in them and Monopoles don’t have hundreds to thousands of welds and bolts. Like all good things that last, they’re simple.
